PanaRhythm is the result of sampling an odd little preset rhythm box we picked up at a car-boot sale. With only three sounds and a handful of rather tired onboard patterns, we weren’t expecting much from this thing; but it turns out to have a really strong, characterful snare sound to it. (The hats aren’t bad either.) We’ve spread the snare over a whole octave to give you some pitch variation, and there are randomised round-robins of the sounds to get that analogue uncertainty into the tone. A great little snare machine… for free!
